Kali Tasweer; a Wonderful Urdu Novel of Imran Series by Ibn-e-Safi
Kali Tasweer (Black Photograph) is a wonderful Urdu spy novel of Imran
Series by Ibn-e-Safi, the legendary writer of Imran Series and other spy
series.
The novel starts with Imran and his stupidity. One cannot control his
laughs at Imran and his stupidity. Imran is satying at home busy in
needle and thread and suddenly Super Fiaz calls him and informs him
about a death in Peckok Circus. The beautiful girl of the circus dies
while she was performing.
Later by the post mortem repost it reveals that she was killed by a
poisoned needle inserted in her chest. Imran start investigations and
solves the case in his unique style. Imran joins the Circus and does
many wonderful stunts.
At the end of the novel Imran writes on autograph book of Paxcy a
sentence which is considered to one of Ibn-e-Safi's famous contences. He
writes: "AADMI SANJEEDA HO KAR KIA KARAY JAB K WO JANTA HAY K AIK DIN USAY APNI SANJEEDGI SMAIT DAFAN HO JANA PARAY GA." (Why should man ever become serious when he knows full well that one day he will be buried along with his seriousness?)
